Thought Closet

So I’m writing from the Pub lab because I have this infuriating inability to actually write during creative writing class.

I’m really not sure what to write about though because apparently this dissability is affecting my rambling as well as my actual creative writing.

Well tonight I’m making a cake for Mr. King for his half birthday.  Long story short he needs one.  So I’m making a chocolate cake with blue icing and a white whale   It’s going to be amazing.

Tomorrow is Joe’s birthday party (another one that I’m hosting) which is a long time coming since his birthday was April 1st.  That will also be exciting.

But I’m tired.  Really tired.  This wood table doesn’t look too inviting though and I still have 25 minutes left of class before the sad PRT.

In light of today being curriculum day for the English dept. I’m writing another post, in Creative Writing this time since I already have my short story done.

So I’ve had butterflies all day today…no explanation, great.  The only abnormal thing going on today is that my boyfriend is driving home to visit me.  Didn’t think he still gave me butterflies but okay, fair enough. 

What’s something good to talk about?  I have a whole 40 minutes to fill…  The SHIFT key on this keyboard is crap…I have to press it right in the middle for it to work.  This is dumb.  SHIFT, sHIFt.  That’s didn’t work out well.

So you all know that new song “Don’t Trust Me” on the radio? (Otherwise known as Don’t Trust A Ho)  I love how the band name ( 3OH!3 ) represents their area code (303).  How would you give love to 317 if you had a band?  3WoN7?  No, that’s lame.  Woah i just realized that there’s a symbol for it too…  And I just found out the 303 is out in Colarado, I didn’t think CO had so much pride, who knew?

Well I’d say I ultimately lost self respect there.  Yeah there deffinately isn’t a good way to make a hand symbol for 317.  I just spent a good two minutes trying to do it and usually it results in me flicking somone off on accident, sorry.

So that was a good topic of conversation, huh?  I planned that.  That’s a lie.  But it was still good.  Now I need another.  I should change the layout of my blog.  It’s too small for youtube vids and such.  And it makes all of my posts look crazy long because it’s so skinny.

I still have 20 minutes of class left…oh well.  Off to change my theme.

Hello again friday!  Again it’s spirit day but I didn’t dress up this time, oh well. 

This weeked it going to be awesome.  Kyle (the boyfriend) is driving home from bloomington with a friend for my birthday!  So me, him, and two of my bffs from Carmel are going out to dinner tonight.  Then the girls are staying the night. 

In the morning I’m going to make a cake because tomorrow (saturday) is going to be Me and Patrick’s birthday party.  I’m not sure what I’m going to get him but it will involve him and I wearing matching tiaras   So that will happen and then maybe the girls for that party will stay the night at my house too? 

And on Sunday I’m going birthday shopping with my grandparents.  That always seems weird to other people that I go with them to pick out what I want for my birthday but that’s what they’ve always done because apparently they don’t trust themselves to pick out good presents?  Even off a list.  Oh well, fine by me, except I hate asking for things so it’s always a little bit of a trying process and I’m really frugal so I stress over how much they spend on me.  I want to go to Gap though.  I’m so into the preppy cardigans and short sleeve sweaters (one of which I’m wearing today) lately.  Plus Gap has such happy and pretty colors

Today is spirit day!  I’m wearing sweatpants!  In other news, today is a Friday which means I get to buy my lunch instead of bring it.  UNfortunately it’s lent and the cafeteria won’t serve anything with meat in it…silly Catholics.

So today (while I was home sick) I blew up Megaton from the Tenpenny tower. You know the little devil face when you lose Karma? This one was ridiculous…it had curly horns a a beard and everything. Pure evil.

So I got this pimpin suite in Tenpenny tower, bought some classy clothes too.

Turns out though that Tenpenny has other concerns besides the “eyesore on the horizon” that was Megaton. There are some ghouls that have been harassing Tenpenny, trying to buy rooms in his tower. Being the pariahs of the post-apocalyptic society, the ghouls obviously are shooed away. The presence nearby is making everyone in Tenpenny nervous the the guards captain sent me out to kill the “gang” (turned out to be three ghouls hiding out in a subway station). I had some qualms with torching the trio with my flamethrower….but reationalized it by telling myself that this was my evil character. Good Karma is reserved for my xbox live account.

So that was my day in Fallout. Toodles

This is Take 2. My origional got timed out…

Okay so you’ve all heard about my origional Fallout character that is registered with my xbox live account. But last night I made a new character, a female on another xbox profile on our system.

So the reason I made this new character was to find out what happens if I blow up Megaton. And as with my origional character I took the charming perk known as “Black widow” (”lady killer” for guy characters). Basically it just gives you extra persuatsion with the oposite sex and unique dialogue options.

So I went to Mr. Burke at Moiarty’s bar and talked to him about the town. All of a sudden I ran into two dialoge options thanks to my Black Widow perk. They were along the lines of “throw in some extra cash and i’ll do the job” (blowing up the town, you pervs) and “but I live here, you wouldn’t want to hurt me, now would you?”

So I chose the second one. Immediately after Burke started to refer to me as “my love” and ran off on some important business, directing me to wait for his summons. So, interested in what would happen as a result of that and not being patient to see the results on my own, I looked it up online.

Turns out Burke starts sending you letters via Moierty and eventually breaks up with you in one. Sad. I want to start over and just blow up the danm town. None of this flirting with Burke business, what a shady guy.

Such is my latest in Fallout. I’ll be back to talk about what happens when I blow up Megaton.

So this is a plug for Athene, self-proclaimed best Paladin in the world. If you were ever a WoW player or jus tplay any MMOs this guy is so for you. Once you get past his totally crude style and how all of his videos are displayed with his scantily clad girlfriend as the screenshot, he’s pretty entertaining. The best part of Athene is that you have no idea what’s real. Is he really that crazy? Is that really his girlfriend? Is the accent real? No one knows. But it’s worth a watch for any MMO player. Oh yeah, and he’s kinda become a sellout for subscribers on youtube…but the early videos are good.
